Study drug effects on blood vessels and organs in heart surgery

This Phase 4 trial studies vericiguat-like stimulation (a type of medicine that affects blood-vessel signaling) around the time of planned open-heart surgery. It aims to see whether this can change blood-vessel “reactivity” and reduce injury to organs during and after surgery.

Vericiguat and heart function in heart failure patients

This trial tests whether vericiguat can improve heart function in people with stable heart failure and a reduced pumping ability. It may help if you have not needed hospital or IV treatments for worsening heart failure in the last 6 months.
