Who can take part
- You had cartilage transplant surgery (using your own cells on a special material) at Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute between 1999 and 2006.
- At the time of surgery, you were between 14 and 60 years old.
- The damaged cartilage was a full-thickness defect (all the way to the bone) in your knee: on the thigh bone (femur), kneecap (patella), shin bone (tibia), or groove area (trochlea).
- You are alive and available to participate in this follow-up study.
