  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) by a doctor.
  • Your anxiety is severe enough that you need medication, and it is not caused by another mental health condition.
  • You do not have serious thoughts of suicide or a history of other major mental disorders (like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia).
  • You are generally healthy, with no serious or unstable medical conditions such as heart, liver, or kidney problems.
