Who can take part

  • You have had daily or nearly daily pain for at least 6 months, rating it as 4 or higher on a 0-to-10 scale.
  • Your pain is either nerve pain (neuropathic) or you have a confirmed diagnosis of fibromyalgia.
  • Your pain medicines have been the same for at least the past month.
  • You can read, understand, and speak French.
  • You do not have any medical reason that stops you from getting rTMS (like metal in your head, a seizure disorder, or certain other conditions).
  • You have not had rTMS treatment before, and you do not have psychosis or an active drug abuse problem.
