Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You do not smoke and have not smoked in the last month.
- You have deep gum pockets (5mm or more) and a bone defect at least 3mm deep seen on X-ray.
- You have stage III gum disease (with grade B or C) and are willing to pay for the treatment yourself.
- You are generally healthy, with well-controlled diabetes (HbA1c under 7%) and no serious allergies to collagen.
