This trial tests whether it's safe to skip armpit surgery in older women with small, low-risk breast cancers. If you qualify, you would have a mastectomy without removing lymph nodes from your armpit.

Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 55 or older
- Your cancer is only in one spot in one breast
- The tumor is 3 cm or smaller on imaging
- No suspicious lymph nodes seen in your armpit on imaging
- Your cancer is strongly positive for estrogen and progesterone receptors, and negative for HER2
- Your tumor is grade 1 or 2 on the initial biopsy
- You choose to have a mastectomy (whole breast removal)
