Who can take part

  • You are having surgery on your jaw or face (oro-maxillo-facial surgery).
  • You can open your mouth fully.
  • You are in good health overall (ASA class I or II).
  • You do not have arthritis that limits mouth opening.
  • You do not have serious liver or kidney disease.
  • Your BMI is under 35.
  • No personal or family history of malignant hyperthermia.
  • Diabetes is not treated with insulin.
  • High blood pressure is well controlled.
