Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a type of soft tissue sarcoma, such as liposarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, or undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, that cannot be removed with surgery.
- You have had at least one prior treatment for the sarcoma, and it has spread or grown despite that treatment.
- You have at least one tumor that is 2 centimeters or larger and can be safely injected with a needle, guided by imaging.
- You are in reasonably good health, with adequate kidney, liver, and blood counts.
- You are not pregnant, and if you can have children, you agree to use effective birth control.
- You have not had more than two prior treatments for advanced sarcoma.
- You do not have brain tumors that are unstable, or other cancers (except cured skin or bladder cancer).
- You are not taking blood thinners, aspirin, or strong interacting medications unless they can be stopped.
- You have not had radiation therapy within the last 2 weeks, or chemotherapy within the last 4 weeks.
