  • Your child's body mass index (BMI) is at the 85th percentile or higher for their age and gender
  • Your child does not have a chronic disease like diabetes or hypothyroidism that causes obesity
  • Your child does not have any neurodevelopmental delays
  • You and your child agree to participate after learning about the study
