Who can take part

  • You are between 24 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with bipolar I or II disorder and are currently in a depressive episode.
  • You have been on a stable mood-stabilizing medication for at least one month.
  • You do not have rapid-cycling bipolar (more than 4 episodes per year) or current mania/hypomania.
  • You are not currently pregnant, do not have a seizure disorder or metal implants in your body, and have not had brain stimulation therapy in the last 6 months.
