Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have HER2-negative stomach cancer or cancer where the stomach meets the esophagus that is advanced or cannot be removed by surgery.
- You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy for advanced cancer before (or any previous treatment ended at least 6 months ago).
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- You are generally up and about (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts and organ function (kidney, liver) are within normal ranges.
