- You are between 18 and 55 years old

- You are not currently taking any disease-modifying MS medication, but your doctor is planning to start you on a stronger treatment
- You have not received steroid treatment (methylprednisolone) in the last month
- You are able to have an MRI scan (no metal implants, pacemaker, or severe claustrophobia)
