- You have been diagnosed with MS by a doctor and have had signs of active disease in the last 6 months
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have not taken any long-term MS treatments, except for steroids or plasma exchange for relapses
- You are planning to start a strong MS medication, like ocrelizumab or natalizumab
- You can undergo brain scans (PET, CT, or MRI) and do not have metal implants or severe claustrophobia
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not have certain conditions like severe kidney disease or diabetes requiring insulin
