This trial tests two targeted drugs, venetoclax and revumenib, for people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has a specific change in the NPM1, KMT2A, or NUP98 genes and has minimal residual disease (MRD) after treatment. The goal is to see if this combination can clear remaining leukemia cells and improve outcomes.

Who can take part

  • You must be 12 years or older and weigh at least 45 kg (about 99 lbs).
  • You have AML with an NPM1, KMT2A, or NUP98 gene change and measurable leftover disease (MRD) after your first or second remission.
  • Your leukemia is not growing fast enough to be seen under a microscope (blast cells under 5%) but MRD is high (at least 0.1%).
  • Your heart, liver, and kidney function must be adequate, and you must be able to swallow pills.
  • You cannot have had prior treatment with a menin inhibitor (like revumenib).
