Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with AML (not APL type) and have received 1 to 3 rounds of intensive chemotherapy.
  • Your leukemia is in remission, meaning less than 5% blast cells in your bone marrow.
  • You still have measurable residual disease (MRD) at a specific level detected by flow cytometry or PCR.
  • You are healthy enough for more intensive chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.
  • Your liver and kidney function are within safe limits, and you do not have active infections or serious heart disease.
