This trial tests if a second round of a targeted radiation therapy (177Lu-PSMA-617) can help men whose prostate cancer has returned after a successful first treatment. It is for men whose cancer has stopped responding to hormone therapy and chemotherapy, and whose PSA levels have risen again after a prior good response to this drug.

Who can take part

  • You have metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (cancer that has spread and is growing despite low testosterone levels).
  • You have had at least one course of chemotherapy for this cancer.
  • You have taken at least one hormone-targeting pill (like enzalutamide or abiraterone).
  • You completed at least 4 cycles of 177Lu-PSMA-617 before and had a good response (PSA dropped by at least half).
  • After that first treatment, your PSA went up again (confirmed by two tests at least 3 weeks apart).
  • You have a recent PSMA PET/CT scan showing the cancer still has the target (PSMA) and your blood counts and kidney function are adequate.
