  • Your child must be in one of these groups: having a sleep study, a newborn with breathing pauses, or a child in the epilepsy monitoring unit.
  • Age range depends on the group: birth to 16 years (sleep study), 30 weeks to term (newborn apnea), or birth to under 16 years (epilepsy monitoring).
  • You or a family member must be able to give permission for the study.
  • You or your child must be able to speak and read English.
  • The study doctor must agree that your child can take part.
