Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a leg ulcer (on the lower leg or ankle) that has been present for 4 weeks to 1 year
- Your ulcer is between the size of a quarter and a large dinner plate
- You are willing to use compression therapy (like wraps or stockings)
- Your ulcer is not infected, not cancerous, and does not have exposed bone or deep tissue
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or using medicines that slow healing
