Who can take part

  • Your baby is being monitored for hydrocephalus (fluid in the brain) or is a healthy volunteer.
  • No known allergy to contact lens or adhesive materials.
  • No open or closed wounds on or near the soft spot on the top of the head.
  • The soft spot (anterior fontanelle) must still be open.
  • No other serious health conditions that the medical team thinks could interfere.
