Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a traumatic brain injury (mild, moderate, or severe) or a stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic).
  • You do not have a history of other brain problems like tumors, infections, or previous brain injury/stroke.
  • You do not have cuts or wounds on your scalp that would prevent a small sensor from being placed.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You are able to give consent (or have a family member or legal representative who can).
