Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must have been recently diagnosed with active multiple myeloma (meeting IMWG 2014 criteria).
  • You must have at least one sign of bone damage from the myeloma (e.g., visible on X-ray, CT, MRI, or PET).
  • You cannot have had certain bone medicines like denosumab or bisphosphonates in the past 6 months.
  • You must be in generally decent overall health (adequate liver, kidney, and heart function).
  • You cannot have active jaw problems or planned dental surgery that could affect healing.
