Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 18 and 45 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 24 or higher and your waist is 80 cm or more.
  • Your weight has stayed steady (no more than about 9 pounds change) in the last 3 months.
  • You have not had weight-loss surgery (like a gastric bypass or liposuction).
  • You are not taking any medications that could affect your weight, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
