Who can take part
- You are between 20 and 65 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 27 or higher, or your BMI is 24 or higher with a waist measurement of at least 90 cm for men or 80 cm for women.
- You have not taken weight-loss medication or used other weight-reduction treatments in the past 3 months.
- You are willing to follow dietary and exercise advice during the study.
- You do not have medical conditions or take medications that could affect weight, such as corticosteroids, antipsychotics, insulin, or certain diabetes drugs (GLP-1 receptor agonists).
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy within the next 6 months.
