  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have non-small cell lung cancer that has spread into the thin layer between the lobes of your lung but hasn't spread outside the chest
  • Your cancer is at a stage that could be treated with either radiation (SBRT) or surgery
  • Your overall health is good enough to allow you to be up and about (ECOG score 0–2)
  • You haven't had another cancer or serious heart/lung disease in the past
