Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IA or IIA (early stage) and located in the outer part of the lung (at least 2 cm from the main airways or chest center).
- You must be unable to have surgery because of poor lung function, heart problems, or similar reasons, or you have chosen not to have surgery.
- You must be in fairly good overall health (able to care for yourself and up and about more than 50% of waking hours).
- You must not have had previous radiation, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or surgery for lung cancer.
- You must not have any other active cancer (except certain skin cancers or cervical pre-cancer that was treated within the last 5 years).
