Who can take part
- You are 18 or older
- You are already scheduled for a colonoscopy (with or without upper endoscopy) as part of your normal care, or you are willing to have one for research
- You are not pregnant
- You do not have an inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis
- You have not taken antibiotics by mouth or IV in the last 3 months
- You have not had major gastrointestinal surgery, a bleeding disorder, or a cancer diagnosis treated within the last 5 years
