  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are a patient at Vanderbilt University Hospital (either observation or inpatient)
  • You are receiving the blood thinner heparin through an IV, and it is being monitored with the PTT nurse-managed protocol
  • Your baseline PTT test result is between 0 and 36.0 seconds
  • Your baseline heparin level (anti-Xa assay) is between 0 and 0.3
