Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU) in the past 24 hours.
- Your doctors expect you to be in the ICU for more than 2 days from now.
- You are not on a high dose of blood thinners (like enoxaparin).
- You are not on or about to need a heart-lung machine (ECMO).
