Who can take part

  • You must be 9 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with drug-resistant epilepsy that starts in one area of the brain (focal epilepsy) and has not responded to at least two medications.
  • You have had at least 3 seizures per month in the last month.
  • Your epilepsy medication doses have been stable for at least 4 weeks before the study begins.
  • You are able to speak, read, and write in French, and can follow study procedures.
