Who can take part

  • You speak English and can give informed consent
  • You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • You have epilepsy that hasn't been controlled by medications and/or you've experienced cognitive decline (memory or thinking problems)
  • You cannot have other neurological conditions like stroke, brain injury, or brain lesions
  • You cannot have severe, hard-to-control headaches or migraines
  • You need to be able to lie flat for several hours without back pain
