Who can take part

  • You are between 30 and 80 years old.
  • You have had shoulder pain for more than one month and have trouble moving your arm in at least two directions (like raising it forward, out to the side, or rotating it).
  • You do not have a history of shoulder fracture, dislocation, or major shoulder injury.
  • You do not have other shoulder problems like a torn labrum, rotator cuff tear, or arthritis.
  • You do not have nerve problems, bleeding disorders, or an allergy to numbing medicine.
