  • Can spell, follow 2-3 step directions, and read large print
  • Has a severe motor impairment that makes speaking or typing hard (e.g., from spinal cord injury, stroke, or cerebral palsy)
  • Needs an alternative way to communicate (like a special device) and has already been prescribed one
  • Can voluntarily move head, hand, or foot to control a wearable device
  • Available for 5 testing sessions (1-2 hours each) and has no medical restrictions on movement
