  • You are between 18 and 45 years old and pregnant (21 to 29 weeks).
  • You are healthy enough to undergo surgery.
  • The baby's main heart problem is a narrow or blocked aortic valve.
  • The baby's left heart is not growing properly (evolving hypoplastic left heart syndrome).
  • Doctors believe the baby's heart can be repaired to work with two pumping chambers.
