Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have a spinal cord injury at neck level (C1-C8) that is at least 1 year old, and you have some movement in your arms and legs (classified as AIS C or D).
  • You can move your shoulder at least a little (30 degrees forward and 20 degrees sideways) and have some control over your elbow muscles.
  • You have enough learning and memory to follow instructions in English and can tolerate therapy sessions for up to 60 minutes with breaks.
  • You do not have severe pain, spasticity, or skin problems that would interfere with wearing the arm brace, and you are not pregnant or in other experimental treatments.
