Who can take part
- You have a type of esophageal cancer called squamous cell carcinoma that can be surgically removed.
- You have not had any previous cancer treatment (such as chemotherapy or radiation).
- You are in good overall health, able to perform daily activities with little to no help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts and organ functions (kidney, liver) are within acceptable ranges as determined by blood tests.
- You are able to take the study drug anlotinib by mouth and are not severely underweight or losing weight rapidly.
- If you are able to have children, you agree to use effective contraception during the study and for 6 months after treatment.
