Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer) that has not spread to other parts of the body and is stage IIa to IIIb.
- You have not received any previous treatment that goes through your whole body (like chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy).
- You have a high tumor burden OR a tumor thrombus (cancer clot) in the main portal vein or its main branch.
- Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh class A or B) and you are in generally good health (ECOG score 0-1).
- If you have hepatitis B, your viral load is low (HBV-DNA ≤ 2000) or you are on antiviral medication.
