Comparing two types of spinal cord stimulation for nerve pain after surgery

This trial tests two different ways to place spinal cord stimulator leads to see which works better for nerve pain that started after a surgery. If you have had pain in one arm, one leg, or one side of your body for more than six months that hasn't improved with other treatments, this study may be an option for you.

Who can take part

  • You have nerve pain that started after a surgery.
  • At least half of your pain is in one body part, like one arm, one leg, or one side of your trunk.
  • You have tried other treatments like medications or physical therapy and they haven't helped enough.
  • Your pain has been disabling for more than six months.
  • You do not have a spinal cord stimulator already implanted.
  • You do not have any condition that prevents you from having an MRI, such as certain implants or metal in your body.
