Testing NoNO-42 for moderate to severe ischemic stroke
Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.
This study tests a new drug called NoNO-42 for people having a moderate to severe ischemic stroke. You can join if you get clot-busting medicine within 4.5 hours of your stroke and may also have a procedure to remove the clot.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You are 18 to 90 years old.
- You have a moderate to severe stroke (NIHSS score over 5).
- You can get the study drug within 4.5 hours of when your stroke started or when you were last seen well.
- You are eligible for clot-busting medicine (thrombolysis).
- You have a blockage in a large artery in the front part of your brain (anterior circulation).
- You were living independently before your stroke (no nursing care).

This trial tests whether giving a clot-dissolving medication directly into the brain's blood vessels during a standard procedure (mechanical thrombectomy) can improve outcomes for people with a stroke caused by a blockage in a medium-sized artery. It may be an option for patients who arrive at the hospital within 24 hours of symptom onset and have enough salvageable brain tissue.
This Phase 2 trial tests whether the study medicine (LT3001) is safe and improves outcomes for people with an acute ischemic stroke who are getting a procedure to remove a clot (EVT). It aims to help certain patients who have a specific brain scan pattern soon after stroke symptoms start.
This trial tests a new drug, J147, for people who recently had a stroke caused by a blocked artery and have already had a procedure to reopen that artery. It aims to see if the drug can improve recovery.
This trial tests whether a clot-busting medication given through a vein (intravenous thrombolysis) can safely treat acute ischemic stroke within 24 hours in people who have taken a newer oral blood thinner (NOAC) within the last 4 to 48 hours.
This trial tests a clot-busting drug for people who had a stroke more than 4.5 hours ago. It uses a special CT scan to see if the treatment can still help them.
This trial tests if removing a large blood clot from the brain up to 3 days after a stroke improves recovery compared to standard medical care alone. It is for patients who have a severe stroke and are otherwise healthy enough for the procedure.
