Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), a type of liver cancer.
  • Your first treatment was one of these: chemotherapy through a liver artery (HAIC), blocking blood supply to the tumor (TACE), targeted pills (TKIs), immunotherapy (ICIs), or radiation therapy.
  • You are able to carry out normal daily activities or only limited in strenuous activity (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • Your liver function is relatively good (Child-Pugh score 5 to 7, meaning mild to moderate liver damage).
  • You have not had any other cancer in the last 5 years.
  • You have complete medical records and have been followed for at least 3 months after treatment started.

Pre-surgery treatment for high-risk liver cancer
