Who can take part
- You have a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease from your regular doctor.
- Your Parkinson's is at a moderate stage (Hoehn and Yahr stage 2 or 3).
- You can give your own consent to participate.
- You do not have other conditions that cause similar symptoms, like atypical parkinsonism.
- You do not have significant dizziness or blood pressure drops when standing up.
- For a part of the study, you must have a specific type of brain stimulator (St. Jude Medical Percept device) implanted in a specific brain area (STN).
