Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have a traumatic incomplete spinal cord injury (with some feeling or movement below the injury level) and it's been at least 6 months since the injury.
- You can move at least two muscles in each leg, or have electrical signals in your leg muscles.
- You can walk at least 10 meters (about 33 feet) with some help from a therapist and a little body-weight support.
- You do not have metal implants in your head, recent seizures, uncontrolled blood pressure swings, or other conditions that could interfere with the study.
