Biocleft for cleft palate repair in children

Who can take part

  • Your child is a boy or girl under 18 years old.
  • Cleft is complete on one side, involving both lip and palate, and not part of a syndrome.
  • Your child already donated a small piece of cheek lining during a prior lip repair surgery.
  • One parent or guardian must sign a permission form agreeing to the study.
  • Your child does not have active infections, serious blood/liver/kidney/bone problems, or a cancer diagnosis.
