Who can take part

  • You are 19 years old or older.
  • You have a partial-thickness rotator cuff tear (less than half the tendon thickness) confirmed by MRI.
  • You have had shoulder pain, weakness, and limited movement for more than 3 months, even after trying non-surgical treatments like physical therapy.
  • Your shoulder pain is rated 4 or higher on a 0-to-10 scale.
  • You do not have a full-thickness rotator cuff tear or other serious shoulder conditions.
  • You have not taken painkillers in the last week, or had steroid injections or shoulder surgery recently.
