Stem cell therapy for chronic shoulder pain from partial rotator cuff tear

Rotator Cuff Disease

Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Injuries & trauma clinical trials.

This trial tests whether a single injection of stem cells from donated umbilical cord tissue can help people with a partial rotator cuff tear that hasn't healed with standard treatments like physical therapy or injections. If you have had shoulder pain for at least 3 months and a partial tear confirmed by MRI or ultrasound, you may be eligible.

Stem Cell Treatment for Partial Rotator Cuff Shoulder Tears

This study tests whether injecting stem cells (special healing cells from umbilical cord tissue) into a partially torn rotator cuff can reduce pain and improve shoulder function. You may qualify if you have persistent shoulder pain from a partial tear that hasn't improved with physical therapy or injections.

Rotator cuff repair with stem cells for large shoulder tears

This trial tests whether adding umbilical cord stem cells to standard arthroscopic rotator cuff repair helps heal large or massive tears better. It may be an option if you have had shoulder pain for at least three months and other treatments haven't worked.

Long-term safety and effectiveness of stem cells for rotator cuff disease

This study follows up with people who already received an experimental stem cell treatment for rotator cuff disease in a previous trial. It aims to check if the treatment remains safe and effective over time.

Embolization for chronic shoulder pain not helped by other treatments

This trial tests a minimally invasive procedure called transcatheter arterial embolization using tiny particles (Nexsphere-F) to reduce chronic shoulder pain that has not improved with physical therapy, medications, or injections. It aims to see if this treatment can safely improve pain and shoulder movement.

NCT07320378Not yet recruiting· Early Phase 1
Stem cell therapy for rotator cuff tears

This trial tests whether using tendon stem cells during arthroscopic surgery can help heal small to medium-sized rotator cuff tears. It may be an option if you have had shoulder pain or limited function that hasn't improved with non-surgical treatments like physical therapy.

NCT07592936Not yet recruiting· Phase 1/Phase 2
Stem Cell Injections for Rotator Cuff Shoulder Tears

This trial tests whether injections of your own fat-derived stem cells can help heal a torn rotator cuff (the shoulder muscle that helps lift your arm). Researchers believe these cells may reduce pain and improve shoulder function better than standard treatments.
