Who can take part
- You are between 6 and 18 years old.
- You are having cleft palate repair with a bone graft taken from your own hip.
- You will stay in the hospital after surgery for pain management.
- Your physical health status is rated as 1, 2, or 3 on a standard scale (generally healthy to having a mild or moderate illness).
- You do not have any infections, bleeding problems, or allergies to numbing medicine used in the study.
