Who can take part
- Your ankle-brachial index (a test comparing blood pressure in your ankle and arm) must be 0.90 or lower.
- Your condition must have been stable for at least 3 months (no major changes).
- You haven't been doing regular exercise or heart rehab in the past 3 months.
- You don't have severe leg pain at rest, critical limb ischemia, or an amputation.
- You haven't had leg surgery or a procedure to open leg arteries in the last 3 months.
- You don't have heart failure, kidney disease, Crohn's, a beet allergy, and you are not a current smoker.
