Who can take part
- You or your child must be older than 1 month of age.
- The cardiac arrest must have happened in a surgical area or where anesthesia or sedation is given by an anesthesiologist.
- The procedure cannot be a minor outpatient surgery where you go home the same day.
- You cannot be on ECMO (heart-lung machine) or a ventricular assist device at the time of cardiac arrest.
