Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 90 years old.
  • You have a chronic subdural hematoma (a collection of old blood on the brain) that is confirmed by a CT or MRI scan.
  • You are not currently taking blood thinners, steroids, or certain other medications.
  • You do not have a serious health condition like cancer, severe liver or kidney disease, or a bleeding disorder.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
