Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a chronic subdural hematoma (a blood collection on the brain) within the last 14 days.
  • A neurosurgeon has determined that you do not need surgery for this condition.
  • You can take study medications on time, or have a caregiver who can help you.
  • You are not taking blood thinners for certain conditions like atrial fibrillation, and do not have a history of blood clots or bleeding disorders.
  • Your kidneys are working well (no severe kidney disease).
