Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have heart failure with a weak heart pump (ejection fraction of 40% or less).
- You have iron deficiency (low iron stores in your blood).
- Your hemoglobin (a measure of red blood cells) is between 9.5 and 13.5 mg/dL.
- You have not taken an SGLT2 inhibitor before (like empagliflozin, dapagliflozin).
- You do not have severe kidney disease (eGFR less than 30), a pacemaker or ICD, or certain other heart or blood conditions.
